This year, the Slow Wine guide awarded us the snail symbol, defining us as a slow winery. Speaking about life at our winery, they wrote: “A profound connoisseur of Franciacorta and a tireless storyteller, Silvano Brescianini enthusiastically leads a company that is now well-established and well-regarded in the international sparkling wine scene. He is eager to continue being a pioneer in the sector, leveraging innovation as a key to enhancing the territory.”
The guide also highlighted our vineyards: “A mosaic of soil, capable of changing within a few rows, and respect for biodiversity are the elements that underpin the exaltation of each individual parcel. Walking through the vineyards, you pass from moraine pebbles to clay, and finally sand. Some new vineyards have been reclaimed from the urban sprawl: a tangible sign of the loving preservation of the territory.” To conclude, writing about our wines, they wanted to extol our winemaking techniques: “The exaltation of the sparkling wine technique is a mere exercise in style, rather it leads to products of great refinement.”
